I'm back

ok, the blog hasn't been too active for awhile now, BUT i'm BACK! just, please don't hate me.. LOL

I need suggestions on who you want to see interviews from, and I need you to help me promote the blog so that it'll get some regular readers. i'm still gonna try to post interviews on mondays, but I will post stuff on other days too, so follow me on twitter @themauren.

CJaye LeRose Interview!

CJaye is a country singing, guitar playing girl from Texas. She uploaded her first youtube video on April, 14th in 2009. 

Here's the interview with CJaye! 

1. What's your favorite animal? Besides dogs.

Favorite animal besides dogs are ummm gosh thats tough, Ill say penguins because they slide on their bellys

2. Does anyone else in your family do music?

No one in my family is musical, thats why Im so passionate about chasing your dreams no matter what.

3. What do you think will be the hardest adjustment as you move closer to fame? (family, friends, how you spend your time.. etc)

Well Im here in Nashville trying my best to make it, and so far the hardest adjustment is being away from home. Its hard because I miss my family. They all live in Texas, besides my sister, she lives here in Nashville with me :) 

4. Do you have a boyfriend? and if so, what's he's name?

My man's name is Derek :) 

5. Who are you biggest inspiration in music?

My biggest influences in Music is brad Paisley and Shania Twain. I have always loved their music. 

6. Do you have any tips for other songwriters to write better songs?

The best advice I have on song writing is the same advice everyone has given me, and thats the more you do it, the easier it gets. Keep all your ideas written down, so you dont loose track of them, and continue to build on your ideas :)

7. Where would your dream performance be?

My dream performance would be the ACMA's in Vegas because its the first award show I ever went to, so making it to that stage will be MY DREAM! 

8. Who would you like to open for? most.

I would love to open for Brad Paisley...Feel free to bug him and tell him to have me :) 

9. What can we expect from you in the future?

You can expect me to continue making music and making people happy! I love spreading the love and smiles so I will continue to try to do that on a bigger scale :) 

10. When did you start to play guitar and sing?

I probably started seriously singing about 6 years ago. I always wanted to sing but I was too scared to go for it until then :)

11. Who was your inspiration to start playing guitar and sing?

Gosh who was my inspiration to sing and play guitar? Just all the country singers out there that I grew up listening too. I remember seeing Lila Mccann at a concert sing, she was young and cute, and I remember thinking I wanted to be like her! Except she wasnt playing guitar, but still!

Savannah Outen Interview!

Savannah Outen is an 18 year old girl from Oregon, USA. She was born on October 14th 1992.
Savannah uploaded her first video March 8 in 2007! Since then the first video has had over 2 million views, and her channel has had over 7 million views!


The interview:

1. Who was the first user you subscribed to on youtube?

It was a "Savannah Outen" fansite :)

2. How is your life different now from how it was 3 years ago when you posted your first youtube video?

It's not much different. I'm still a normal teenaged girl, but I do travel much more than I did 3 years ago. It's such a fun adventure for me!

Her first video was a cover of "Listen" by Beyoncé

3. What inspired you to start singing and playing guitar?

I've always grew up singing. But Aly & Aj inspired me to play the guitar.

4. if you had three wishes, what would they be?

For everyone to be healthy and happy, To have an endless supply of Pinkberry, and 5 more wishes ;)

5. If you got the offer, would you do an episode on Glee?

Absolutely! That would be an amazing experience. I just recently started watching the show, and I've got to stay, it's awesome.

6. Do you have any new year resolutions? And what are they?

I want to travel more, release an album, and get my drivers license haha.

7. What's your best memory of 2010?

I have so many! My favorite was either meeting Steve Carell, because I'm OBSESSED with him and The Office, or getting to see all of my family from South Carolina a lot and have them come to my show with Jordin Sparks.

8. How did you feel when you listened to your song for the first time on radio disney?

I was freaking out. Especially because the song they played, was the first song I ever wrote. So it was an incredible feeling.

9. How do you feel about your fans?

I love them SO much. They are so incredible to me. They are the reason I'm where I am.

10. What do you think about the fact that you have fans all around the world?

It's crazy! It blows my mind. I get so excited when I read messages that say, "I'm from Poland and you inspired me!" or "We love your music here in Brazil!". I hope to go on a world tour!

11. Do you plan your outfits for your videos?

I kind of just go into my closet and choose and outfit minutes before I shoot my video. Sometimes, I'll choose the outfit in my head though :)

12. Do you have any tips on how to write better songs?

My best advice is to just write NON-STOP. Write stories, poems, songs, everything. I grew up loving to write stories in Elementary school. And that made me start wanting to write songs. Even if you think it's a bad lyric, still keep going because you never know, you might be able to use it in another song.

13. Do you remember who your first subscriber was?

I have no clue! That'd be awesome to find out though. I've give them a giant hug!

14. What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?

I fell down the stairs of my High School in front of my crush! Typical lol. I also hit my lip with my microphone at a show once, and it started bleeding.

15. What should fans do to get your autograph? like on a picture..

They can come to a live show! Or message me on youtube!

16. What is your favourite snack?
I love Bananas, Cantaloupe, Ritz Crackers and String Cheese :)

Why you never continued the if you only knew video clip? WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! will you continue it? what would it be the continuation if it was going to happen?

Well, unfortunately I'm not sure if there will be a continuation.. There will be another music video in the future, though!!

I've decided that i'm gonna TRY to post one interview every monday, and you'll get two weeks to send your questions, so this monday i'm gonna announce who the next youtuber i'm gonna interview is, then the monday after that i'll post savannah's interwiev, and the person that i'm gonna have an interview with two weeks after that.
and that's how it's gonna go, and i'm gonna be posting some stuff in between too, but not interviews.

I think Savannah was the FIRST person i subscribed to on youtube, so I'm so happy that she is gonna be the first one to do an interview here!

I created this blog because I love writing and I love a lot of different youtube musicians, obviosly.
I really don't have a lot of experience in blogging so if your like a really good blogger, you might not like this, but that's not my problem.
I'm gonna try to get some interviews with some musicians, keeping you updated on what they'r doing and stuff like that.
